Starting Out Small
I really love my own planted tomatoes to the store bought ones. So here we go, one packet of seeds, some starter containers and soil.

Border
I had lots of appointments and errands this am so I only took the dogs, Maddy and Diego around the block but that's when I saw this inventive landscaping border. I love it because it's uneven and off kilter just enough to make it not ordinary. And it concrete. Which I am thinking is inexpensive.

Rainbow over FH
Wow! Just as I was leaving to get on the ferry and head back to work in Anacortes, I saw this rainbow! While I was waiting for the ferry to unload I was bathed in sunshine and pelleted with some icy snow. Just another glorious day in the San Juan's. It's good to be home!!!

Day 9- Back Home
We woke up extra early this Daylight savings day to catch a shuttle to Utah's airport. We flew home and caught another shuttle, then a ferry and you would think I could have taken a picture today, somewhere, but no. The pile of our holiday laundry was not as gorgeous as this picture taken from a balcony sitting area from our hotel on our last night yesterday. Mmmmmm, but glad to be home.

Day 8-Last Run
Amazing! We skied or boarded for 6 days and it's hard to believe it's time to go home. This picture I took is of the bumps off the lift called Sugarloaf. I love skiing the bumps except when they're as tall as me, then I don't like them. Our longest lift line today was 5 minutes long. GEEZ! And it's a Saturday. We each had an americano
mid mountain and I saw this cute little baby with ski goggles. He later was placed in a ski pack on dad's back and went along for the ride. Come to think of it he was about the height of bumps I like to ski. But one day I am sure Nicholas will be zooming past me.

Day 7-Utah Day 1-Alta
What an amazing place and we got to the top of Alta from the top of Snowbird. I didn't get near the spectacular photos that Tim did today. I did want to mention this photo however, SLOW, is very subjective. I have never seen the speed police out on the slopes enforcing this precaution. I just think it's funny that I go by these signs and slow down to what I think slow is and someone else zooms by me going what they think slow is. I played with this photo with photoshop express to make it more dramatic. Guess where we're going tomorrow. We're getting up early for this one.

Day 6-Again?
Yesterday was fun and I thought I was getting the hang of boarding. Only Tim had me convinced I was a regular foot and not goofy foot. Well I switched feet and started out this am boarding on my head. It didn't really work out for me. So I had the rental shop switch it again and went back out on my one lift and one run of the day that took me all day. I didn't want to give up but when you ride your butt more than your board its time to rethink things. I decided since the only thing on my body that doesn't hurt is my belly fat It was time to cry uncle. Oh and fingertips don't hurt.
